Atanas Botev graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje (graphic art), 1997.
He received MA from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje in 1999. He is working as custodian on the Open Graphc Art Studio in the Museum of the City of Skopje. Besides the graphic arts he takes up paintings, drawings, installations, performances.
He has participated on the conference New History of Modern Art-Eastern Europian Avant-gardes at the University of Chicago
Workshop with Juta Bauer, Goethe Institute, Belgrad .
Workshop in Santa Fe (New Mexico)
Study stay in Cite International des Arts in Paris.
