Coffee and Cigarettes

Bitola, (Never)Work - Akto Festival, 2011

An interactive performance where the artist invites the audience to join him for a coffee chitchat, ocoffeeering them the opportunity to get informed about everything they want to know about his works. Thus the fuss over the art elitism is demystified and the gap between the artist and the audience is being bridged. The project is also and ironic comment on the local current law that prohibits smoking. Namely, the performance is taking place in an improvised room which symbolizes a closed area where smoking is forbidden by law.
